This policy explains what Eagle Developers, LLC ("Fammy", "we", "us") collects when you use Fammy, why we collect it, and what you can do about it. The short version: we collect what the service needs in order to work, we share it with your circle and with the providers that help us run it, and we do not share or sell your personal information. This is a family run business and we take your privacy seriously.
Information you post in a circle is visible to the active members of that circle. Fammy is secure in that your circle's data does not leak into another's. Fammy cannot protect against a member of your circle sharing information outside the circle, so only invite people you trust.
For the information you post, you are the one deciding what is collected and who receives it; we store and deliver it on your behalf. So the choices below are yours rather than ours: what detail to put in a need note, whether to include information about someone else, and who is in the circle to read it. Owners and admins are also the ones who keep membership current — if somebody should no longer have access to a circle, remove them from the Members page. We do not review a circle's posts or prune its membership.
Removing a member, or deleting a need, stops further access. It cannot recall what has already been seen, or what has already been delivered by email, SMS, push notification or calendar feed.
We share information with the providers that make the service work, under contracts limiting them to that purpose: hosting and database providers, email and SMS delivery, push notification delivery, payment and subscription processing, error monitoring and analytics. We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of our users.
Parents can choose to connect a Google Calendar from their profile so that their circles' schedule appears there. This section describes exactly what that connection does with data from your Google account ("Google user data"). If you never connect Google Calendar, Fammy accesses no Google user data about you.
What we access.
What we store.
How we use it. Only to provide the calendar sync you turned on: creating the Fammy calendar, and keeping its events in step with your circles as needs are posted, changed, covered or removed. We do not use Google user data for any other purpose.
How we share it. We do not sell, transfer or disclose Google user data to third parties. The calendar entries we write describe the circle's schedule, which the members of that circle can already see in Fammy. Your Google access grant and calendar identifiers are visible to no one else — not to other members of your circles, and not to other users. Our hosting and database providers store this data on our behalf under the contracts described above, and we may disclose it where the law requires.
How we protect it. Traffic to and from Google is encrypted in transit. The access grant is encrypted before it is stored, and the database restricts every row of Google data to the one account it belongs to.
Retention and deletion. We keep this data only while your Google Calendar is connected. When you disconnect from your profile, we delete the Fammy calendar from your Google account, revoke our access with Google, and delete the stored access grant and identifiers. Closing your Fammy account does the same. You can also revoke Fammy's access at any time from your Google Account's third-party connections page; Fammy then stops syncing and deletes what it stored when you disconnect or close your account. Events already written to the Fammy calendar remain in your Google account until you disconnect or delete that calendar yourself.
Limited Use. Fammy's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. In particular, we use Google user data only to provide and improve the user-facing calendar feature described above. We do not use it for advertising, including targeted, personalized or retargeted advertising; we do not sell it, or transfer it to data brokers or information resellers; we do not use it to determine credit worthiness or for lending purposes; and no person at Fammy reads it unless you ask us to in a support request, it is needed for security purposes or to comply with the law. We do not use Google user data to develop, improve or train generalized or non-personalized artificial intelligence or machine learning models.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not rent or trade member lists. If that ever changes, we will tell you before it does and give you a way to opt out.
Fammy is for adults. Accounts are for people 18 and over, and children do not use the service. Parents and guardians post details about their own children — names, ages, notes — so that the people they have invited can care for them; that information is visible only within the circle it was posted to, and is deleted when the child record or the circle is deleted.
We keep your information while your account is open. Closing your account from your profile removes you from your circles and deletes the records that name you; a circle you own is closed along with it, and its members are told first. Backups and server logs age out on their own schedule, and we may keep what the law requires us to keep.
Traffic is encrypted in transit, passwords are stored hashed, and access between circles is enforced by the database rather than by application code alone. No system is perfectly secure, but that is the standard we hold ourselves to.
Fammy is operated from the United States, and your information is processed there. If you use Fammy from elsewhere, you understand that your information is transferred to and processed in the United States.
We may update this policy. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page, and we will tell you about material changes before they take effect — including any change to how Fammy accesses, uses, stores or shares Google user data.
